At Happy Times Child Care & Early Learning Centre, we understand that choosing the right care for your child is an important decision. To assist families in accessing high-quality care, we offer comprehensive enrolment support and information about the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), which can significantly reduce the cost of child care.

Fees: $151.00 per day, casual booking is $161.00 per day

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

The Child Care Subsidy is a government initiative designed to help families manage the costs of approved child care services. If you are working, studying, training, or even volunteering, you may be eligible to receive the Child Care Subsidy. This subsidy can substantially lower your out-of-pocket expenses, making child care more affordable for families.

How It Works:

• The subsidy is calculated based on a combination of factors, including your family’s income, the number of children in care, the type of care you use, and your activity level (such as work, study, or volunteer commitments).
• Out-of-pocket expenses refer to the total child care fees minus the subsidy you are eligible for. This means that your actual cost is reduced once the subsidy is applied.
• Our friendly team is here to assist you through the subsidy application process, and we are happy to provide any information you need to understand your eligibility and entitlements.

Join Our Service

When your child joins Happy Times, we ensure the whole process is supportive, with open-ended transition and orientation that suits your family’s needs. We keep your child’s routine as consistent with home as possible to ensure continuity of care.

We have an app that allows families to see each time their child’s nappy is changed, when they eat, when they sleep, photos of their day, and offers instant messaging and feedback options. Your child’s learning journey is also recorded via our app, where you can see their learning observations and their links with the early years learning framework.

Our service is a boutique service, with a maximum occupancy of 23 children per day, with two class groups, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for children to thrive in. Small class sizes allow for more opportunities for scaffolding, small group work, excursions, safety, and staff retention.

This also means we can offer what most services can’t: consistency of educators and continuity of care, seeing the same educators regularly, supporting children transitioning, and allowing them to build stronger relationships with educators and peers.

Enrolment Process

We make the enrolment process simple and supportive for families. Whether you are enrolling for Long Day Care, Casual Care, or our Funded Kindergarten Program, our team is here to guide you every step of the way.

1. Contact Us: Reach out to our centre to arrange a tour or discuss your child care needs. We’ll provide you with all the necessary information about our programs, kinder funding, fees, and availability.
2. Complete the Enrolment Form: Once you decide to join Happy Times, you will need to fill out our Enrolment Form, which includes important details about your child’s needs, health, and routines.
3. Subsidy and Payment Options: If you are applying for the Child Care Subsidy, we can assist you in navigating the application process to ensure you receive your eligible benefits. We’ll also provide information on our payment options and schedule.
4. Orientation: To help your child transition smoothly into our care, we offer an Orientation Program that allows your child to gradually get to know our educators and environment. This ensures both you and your child feel comfortable and confident as they start their journey at Happy Times.
